  • Honda opens pre-launch booking for the new city.
    Honda cars India on Thursday started pre-launch booking for the new 5th Generation city. Customers can book it using the online sales platform 'Hondaip from Home' as well as at dealerships.
    Rajesh Goel, senior vice-president & director, Marketing & Sales, said, " The model will go on sale from next month on words." The booking amount is Rs. 5000 for online and Rs. 21000 at the dealership.
  • Maruti drives in Celerio S-CNG version at Rs. 5.36 lakh
    MARUTI SUZUKI India (MSI) on Friday said it has launched a BS-VI compliant S-CNG variant of the Celerio with a price starting at 5.36 lakh. The launch is aligned with the company’s vision of providing a range of green and sustainable offerings to its customers, MSI said in a statement.The Celerio S-CNG variants are priced at Rs. 5.36 lakh, 5.61 lakh and 5.68 lakh.

  • MG Motor, Tata Power join hands for EV chargers
    MG MOTOR India has on Monday announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility. As part of the association, Tata Power will deploy 50KW DC super fast chargers at select MG dealership locations and offer end-to-end electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions to MG dealerships spread across India.
  • Govt seeks suggestions on rules for Driving Licence (DLs), vehicle recall
    THE GOVERNMENT HAS re-invited suggestions from all stakeholders, including general public on the proposed amendment in the motor vehicle rules regarding driving licence, registration of new vehicles, and recall of the defected ones. For defective vehicles, the govt proposes fines ranging from Rs.10 lakh to 1 crore on the basis on number of vehicles and type of vehicles.
    These notifications were earlier issued on March 18 this year,” Ministry of Road Transport & Highway said in a statement. And two notices to this effect have been issued on May 29, 2020, which can be seen at www.morth.gov.in.
